Emer is a 20-year-old environmental activist from Ireland, studying chemical engineering at Queens University. Her key interests are in the green energy transition, nature and biodiversity recover and youth advocacy.
Emer was a COP26 ambassador and a reporter at both COP26 and COP27, and speaks publicly on environmental issues at a range of events and conferences.
As a Director of EcoJustice Ireland and involvement with other organisations, Emer is actively engaged with NGO's, communities, businesses and politicians, to secure a just transition and raise awareness of the climate and ecological crisis. Besides her studies and environmentalism, Emer enjoys playing camogie, gold and Irish music
