Evke Bakker

With a master's degree in Comparative Literature from the University of St Andrews and experience in local journalism, Evke combines her passion for literature with a deep interest in the natural sciences and interdisciplinary issues.

Academically, she has focused on ecocriticism, ecofeminism, postcolonialism, animal studies and the relationship between humanity and the environment. Her goal is to make a tangible impact through storytelling and reporting not only on environmental and humanitarian issues, but also on solution-oriented approaches to the current climate crisis.

She currently lives in Scotland.
