Fleur Disney

Fleur Disney is a passionate advocate for climate justice, animal rights and community power - and she explores solutions to social and environmental issues as a writer (The Times, various industry magazines), filmmaker and hands-on activist.
Fleur worked for Repowering as the Community Energy London officer, helping to co-ordinate a network of community energy practitioners and liaising closely with the GLA and other local authorities to ensure the successful delivery of the London Community Energy Fund.
She is also a director of the award winning not-for-profit ReSpace Projects and has worked within the criminal justice system for ten years.
Fleur has a First in Linguistics and a Distinction in her Energy and Environmental Change MA. She has travelled fairly extensively and has an in-depth understanding of the many issues of sustainability and ethical development which surround tourism, travel and conservation. She hates zoos but appreciates books, trees, skateboarding and travel opportunities.
