Philip Jackson
FounderPhilip’s been trying to get people to do something about climate change since the late 1990s, with varying degrees of success, but it’s not for want of trying. He’s a co-founder of Thermly, a digital platform engaging specialist local installers who support willing householders do something really positive: abandon fossil fuels whilst saving money. Running since 2024, Thermly’s now gaining traction and looking to roll out nationally. Prior to Thermly, and using his background in economics, energy and sustainable design, he’s worked with, for and on behalf of local authorities, central government departments, big profit making enterprises (with varying degrees of empathy and understanding of climate-related matters), forward thinking social enterprises, big developers, small developers, car manufacturers, and a host of others. He’s not on Instagram, he doesn’t have a Facebook account, and he thinks X is a great letter, but somewhat underused. You can, though, reach him via the Thermly website, where he’d be happy to have a proper (albeit slightly niche) conversation about the art of the possible with respect to energy technologies in your home.
