Can you turn London's data into an air-quality-smart application?
On 18 June, Climate-KIC are running the Climathon in cities around the world. The goal is to get the best and brightest local minds together to find city-wide solutions to climate-related problems. The best ideas will win prizes and be showcased in Paris during COP21 in December. The Liebreich Foundation are offering a £5000 special prize to the London idea or ideas which will contribute the most to improving air quality. The Liebreich Foundation Air Quality Climathon Prize will be judged by the same panel as the Climathon, and will help publicise the fact that London’s air quality data is now freely available for use. If you think you can turn London's data into an air-quality-smart application then - REGISTER HERE. The hackathon is being hosted by The Hub Westminster. There will be coaches helping teams from leading companies and organizations and breakout workshops and training. All food, refreshments and bandwidth are on the house.
